Detoxing doesn’t require extreme measures. As said by Dr. Ginni Kalra, Head Dietetics, Aakash Healthcare, New Delhi, following simple yet effective strategies can go a long way.

Limit Alcohol Consumption:
"Alcohol is a toxin that the body struggles to metabolize. While abstaining is ideal, if you do choose to drink, consume minimal amounts," said Dr. Kalra. She also cautioned that alcohol combined with refined seed oils and sugar, common at parties, can worsen its effects.
Replenish Nutrients:
"Alcohol depletes vital nutrients like the B-complex group," Dr. Kalra explained. Restocking these nutrients through a balanced diet is essential for healing.
Hydrate Thoroughly:
Drinking plenty of water is crucial. “Hydration supports kidney and liver function, key organs in detoxification,” said Dt. Komal Malik, Head Dietician, Asian Hospital, Faridabad. For variety, herbal teas like chamomile or dandelion tea can be included.
