Ace cricketer Hardik Pandya has been the center of attention following his outstanding performance at the T20 World Cup. Recently, he took to Instagram to showcase his body transformation showing his recovery journey from the 2023 ODI World Cup injury to his 2024 T20 World Cup campaign. He suffered a horrible ankle injury in the game against Bangladesh during the ODI World Cup last year. The Indian all-rounder spent four months on the sidelines and made a remarkable comeback only during the IPL 2024.
In his Instagram post, Hardik mentions his challenging journey from the 50-over World Cup last November to the ICC T20 World Cup this June. In one of the pictures, he looks muscular, while in the other picture, he has developed abs and looks way more fit now.
“Was a difficult journey after the freak 2023 WC injury but well worth the effort with the T20 WC win. The results come as long as you put in the effort. Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Let’s all try our best and work on our fitness,” his post read.
Apart from being a talented cricketer, Hardik is known for his toned and sculpted physique. In one of the media interactions, the ace cricketer mentioned that his off-field days include yoga and strength training. “I wake up at 7-8 am, play Hanuman Chalisa seven times, and take a cold shower to freshen up and be awake. I do 55 minutes to an hour of yoga, followed by 30 minutes of meditation. My gym session runs from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Let’s have a look at Hardik’s fitness and diet regime for a sculpted physique."
Workout Regime
Hardik Pandya starts his workout routine with a warm-up session. His session includes one-muscle exercises which reduces the risk of injury. He does side lunges, reverse lunges, overhead presses, hurdle drills, kettlebells and swings. All these exercises play a significant role in developing leg strength, strengthening core muscles, boosting metabolism, and increasing overall body coordination for better performance.
Breakfast Meal
Hardik’s breakfast meal includes coconut water or fresh juice. He prefers having bananas, pineapple, orange, avocado, along with skimmed milk with raisin and almond toppings. He also adds shredded chicken, boiled eggs, and salad.
Wholesome Lunch
The cricketer prefers having a heavy lunch which includes vegetable salad, rice, roti, pulses, chicken and low-fat curd.
Dinner Diet
For dinner, Hardik prefers having a light dinner which includes salad, homemade lentils, with fruits.
